Serial Predator Sentenced to Prison

Today in Department 3 of the Tulare County Superior Court, Visalia Division, the court sentenced Dinuba man Tomas Jimenez, age 61, to 24 years in prison after pleading to numerous sexual assaults in the Dinuba area.

“The essence of this case can be described in one word – courage,” said Tulare County District Attorney Tim Ward. “These victims found their voice and broke the silence to bring this perpetrator to justice.”

The crimes were committed against over 30 female victims and two male victims between 2015 and 2024. Jimenez, a popular masseuse and professed “healer,” sexually assaulted the victims in his residences throughout Tulare County. An initial investigation by the Dinuba Police Department in 2024 discovered three victims.

“We suspected there were more victims who were subjected to this defendant’s reprehensible actions. Using social media and creating a confidential bi-lingual tip line, TCDA prosecutors and criminal investigators were able to discover the extent of the defendant’s crimes, and more victims took the bold step to come forward after learning about others who suffered similar offenses,” Ward continued.

On September 12, 2025, Jimenez pleaded no contest to 31 counts of felony sexual assault and one count of misdemeanor invasion of privacy.

Due to the volume and nature of the crimes, Jimenez may be classified as a Sexually Violent Predator upon any future release from CDCR custody. After meeting the terms of his sentence under state law, he will be evaluated for placement into custody of the California Department of State Hospitals for indefinite services and programming.

In addition to his sentence, Jimenez must register as a sex offender for the remainder of his life.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Katrina Brownson and was investigated by the TCDA Bureau of Investigations and the Dinuba Police Department.
