Interested in a Clerkship or Internship?
We are no longer accepting applications for the 2026 summer season.
Process
Applicants who have submitted resumes and cover letters by the March 15th deadline will receive an email with a special link to the official Tulare County application the week of March 16th.
Interviews for those that pass the selection process will be held during the last weeks of March and first weeks of April. The interview process will include a writing assessment. This assessment is not a test but will help determine the level of experience of the applicant. Applicants are required to pass a law enforcement background check. Clerkships and Internships will begin in June pending completion and passing the background checks.
Non-Summer Clerkships/Internships
For those interested in interning or being a Law Clerk outside of the summer season, please submit your resume and cover letter to DAMail@tularecounty.ca.gov. Please include your intended duration of internship/clerkship.
