Veteran TCDA Investigator Promoted to Supervisor
District Attorney Tim Ward is pleased to announce the promotion of Criminal Investigator John Lee to supervisor.
John Lee has been a criminal investigator with the Office of the District Attorney for nearly 12 years. Prior to that, he was Tulare County Sheriff’s Deputy for 13 years. Lee brought with him from TCSO an extensive background in investigating sexual assaults and years of patrol experience. As an investigator with our office, Lee has honed his acumen in fraud investigations and for the last few years he has coordinated the Tulare County Gang Task Force.
John Lee served our nation in the United States Coast Guard for five years before joining law enforcement. This is where his love for travel began. If he is off duty, one will still likely find him on a ship or a plane heading to a far-off port.
“Not only does John Lee bring a wealth knowledge to his new role as a supervisor, but he is also a father of five, and brings an unflappable personality to this new challenge,” said TCDA Bureau of Investigations Chief Lindy Gligorijevic.
Lee will supervise the TCDA Bureau of Investigations Welfare Fraud Unit that consists of nine sworn officers and two civilian staff.
