Porterville Man Sentenced to Life in Prison for Child Molestation
Today in Department 3 of the Tulare County Superior Court, Visalia Division, the court sentenced Eusebio Ramos, age 67, to life in state prison for child molestation. On December 4, 2023, Ramos pleaded no contest to one count of aggravated sexual assault of a child under the age of fourteen and one count of lewd act upon a child under the age of fourteen. Ramos admitted the special allegation that his crimes were committed against multiple victims. Each count is a felony and considered strike offenses.
One of the crimes occurred on July 7, 2012, against a female victim who was thirteen years old at the time of the sexual assault. The other crime occurred between July 30, 2015, and July 30, 2022, against a separate female victim, who was under the age of twelve at the time of the sexual assaults.
Each of the sexual assault crimes occurred in the Porterville area. Additionally, Ramos will be required to register as a sex offender for life. Under current California sentencing laws, Ramos must serve 15 years before being considered for parole.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Chelsea Wayt and investigated by the Porterville Police Department.
