Interested in a Clerkship or Internship this summer?

For those interested in an internship or being a Law Clerk for the Summer of 2026, please submit your resume and a cover letter to DAMail@tularecounty.ca.gov by March 15, 2026. Positions are limited and there will be a competitive selection process.

Process

Applicants who have submitted resumes and cover letters by the March 15th deadline will receive an email with a special link to the official Tulare County application the week of March 16th.

Interviews for those that pass the selection process will be held during the last weeks of March and first weeks of April. The interview process will include a writing assessment. This assessment is not a test but will help determine the level of experience of the applicant. Applicants are required to pass a law enforcement background check. Clerkships and Internships will begin in June pending completion and passing the background checks.
