Goshen Man Found Guilty of Child Molestation

On March 18, 2024, in Department 6 of the Tulare County Superior Court, Visalia Division, a Tulare County jury found Tony Debem, age 30, guilty of child molestation.

Debem was convicted of two felony counts of sexual intercourse or sodomy of a child aged 10 or under and two felony counts of lewd act upon a child. The crimes were committed against a single minor female in December 2023.

Sentencing is set for May 8, 2024, in Tulare County Superior Court where Debem faces life in state prison. Debem will also be required to register a sex offender.

The case was prosecuted by Supervising Deputy District Attorney Laura Jackson and was investigated by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.
