Convicted Child Molester Sentenced to 900+ Years in Prison
On Friday, October 1, 2021, the Tulare County Superior Court sentenced Visalia man Armando Kassaz, age 64, to 960 years-to-life for child molestation.
On August 20, 2021, Kassaz was convicted by a jury of 64 counts of lewd act upon a child under the age of 14. Each count is a felony. The jury also found that Kassaz had substantial sexual conduct with the victim in each count, and that Kassaz committed these crimes against multiple victims.
The crimes occurred between 1995 and 2002 in Tulare County against a three minor victims.
In addition to his sentence, Kassaz must register as a sex offender for the remainder of his life.
The case was prosecuted by Senior Deputy District Attorney Laura Jackson of the Crimes against Children Division and was investigated by Investigator Kevin Grant of the District Attorney’s Bureau of Investigations / Visalia Police Department.
