Murder Charges Filed in Dinuba Double Homicide

District Attorney Tim Ward has announced murder charges in the shooting deaths of a Dinuba couple.

On April 21, 2026, Miguel Angel Saldana, age 43, allegedly shot a male and female to death in front of a Dinuba residence. Saldana was arrested a short time later.

Saldana is charged with two counts of murder with the special allegations that he personally discharged a firearm causing great bodily injury, that the crime constituted multiple murders, that he used a weapon, that the crime took planning, sophistication, and professionalism, and that his conduct was violent.

Saldana entered a not guilty plea at his arraignment this afternoon and remains in custody on no bail. A preliminary hearing conference is scheduled for May 4, 2026, in Superior Court. If convicted, Saldana faces life in prison or the death penalty.
