More Victims Come Forward in North County Sexual Assault Case
Criminal investigators and prosecutors from the Tulare County District Attorney’s Office have announced more victims have come forward in the sexual assault case against Tomas Jimenez, age 60.
Originally charged on June 25, 2024, for the alleged sexual assaults of four women, Jimenez is now charged with the assaults of 21 people in a 48-count amended complaint filed on July 17, 2024. Jimenez is accused of assaulting the women while giving massages in his Dinuba home. He is believed to work closely with Tulare County’s Spanish speaking community.
Utilizing social media and a new bi-lingual tip line, criminal investigators and prosecutors were able to speak to numerous new contacts. The confidential tip line number is 559-636-5467.
“The tip line remains open to anyone who might be a victim in this case or has more information,” said TCDA Bureau of Investigations Sergeant Martha Rodriguez. “It does not matter how long ago the crime took place, and a victim’s legal status does not matter, nor will we ask about a victim’s legal status. All victims deserve justice.”
Jimenez will return to court on August 29, 2024, for a preliminary hearing setting and bail consideration. He remains in custody on no bail.
