Lindsay Peeping Tom Sentenced to Jail, Lifetime Sex Offender Registration
On Friday, May 18, 2018, in Department 19 of the Tulare County Superior Court, South County Justice Center, Judge Antonio Reyes sentenced Jose Magana Ibarra, age 32, of Lindsay, to 120 days in jail, three years supervised probation, and lifetime registration as a sex offender. On February 9, 2018, a jury convicted Ibarra of one count of indecent exposure and one count of lewd acts in public. Both counts are misdemeanors.
At 6:30 in the morning on September 20, 2016, Ibarra jumped over the victim’s fenceand began engaging in lewd acts with himself while looking in the windows of thevictim’s home. This continued for several minutes. Unbeknownst to Ibarra, the victim’shome was equipped with video surveillance which recorded the entire incident.
The case was prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Aaron Corey of the Porterville Division and investigated by the Lindsay Police Department.
