Visalia Man Convicted of 64 Counts of Child Molestation
On Friday, August 20, 2021, in Department 10 of the Tulare County Superior Court, Visalia Division, a jury found Armando Kassaz, age 64, of Visalia, guilty of child molestation.
Kassaz was convicted of 64 counts of lewd act upon a child under the age of 14. Each count is a felony. The jury also found that Kassaz had substantial sexual conduct with the victim in each count, and that Kassaz committed these crimes against multiple victims.
The crimes occurred between 1995 and 2002 in Tulare County against three minor victims.
Sentencing is set for October 1, 2021, in Tulare County Superior Court where Kassaz faces up to 960 years-to-life in state prison.
The case was prosecuted by Senior Deputy District Attorney Laura Jackson of the Crimes against Children Division and was investigated by Investigator Kevin Grant of the District Attorney’s Bureau of Investigations / Visalia Police Department.
